Procolombia has invited GMS and Inca Worldwide to the PLMA. U.S. Private Label Trade Show in Chicago on November 17-19, 2019. Only 6 companies will participate on the Colombia booth at the PLMA show.
At the 2019 show, more than 1,500 companies from over 55 countries will exhibit their products, including 30 international pavilions. For more than 35 years, PLMA’s annual U.S. Private Label Trade Show has been the industry event of the year giving access to the growing private label market in the U.S. and Canada, where retailers and wholesalers source for their private label programmers. From food, snacks and beverages to household and kitchen products, from health and beauty to general merchandise. Exhibitors range from small and medium-size companies to well-known national brand makers who also supply store brands.
Inca Worldwide and GMS will expand both type of business Branding and private Label.
Nielsen estimates that last year nearly one in every five items sold in U.S. supermarkets was a store brand. Private brands claimed 18.4% dollar share and 22.3% unit share, and total market size was pegged at $150 billion.
